Cameron specializes in tax, corporate, and regulatory law as applicable to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. She regularly represents public charities, schools, churches, private foundations, business leagues, and social welfare organizations on a variety of issues. These include formation and exemption, governance and bylaws, regulatory compliance, corporate structuring for domestic and international activities, fiscal sponsorship, grant-making and scholarship programs, revocation and suspension issues, political and lobbying activities, conflicts of interest, nonprofit business activities, conversions and mergers, and dissolution. She also provides general counsel services to nonprofits on routine contract, risk management, employment, and intellectual property matters. Cameron represents large and small nonprofits, providing high quality legal services at affordable prices.

Prior to opening her practice, Cameron worked as an attorney adviser at the U.S. Department of State in the areas of anti-trafficking, extradition, and international investment disputes, where she provided guidance and representation to policy bureaus on complex matters of international and federal law. She was legal extern to the Honorable Thelton Henderson in the United States District court for the Northern District of California, working on issues of Eighth Amendment protections in the California penal system. She served as a Peace Corps Community Development Volunteer in the Republic of Georgia and worked with trafficking victims in Poland with La Strada Foundation Against Trafficking in Women.
